Alley ballet…

Hi All,

I hope you had a really wonderful thanksgiving. This little ballerina is one of the things I have been most thankful for. She is my oldest daughter and has entered the age of being over me photographing her. It used to be really easy to get great photos of her. Now of course I have to work harder ( they say that nothing worth having comes easy, or something to that effect ) which in theory makes me better at what I do. Kind of like resistance training for photographers. Anyway…I shot this quickly in the alley behind our house. I wanted to photograph someone back there the first time I saw it and now, a little over a month later I have done it. I wish I had written it down as a goal so that I could say that I checked one off.

Please enjoy the photos and let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by.

Sincerely,

Keith

Hi Kristen,

Thanks for commenting. I love this ally. It is where the garbage gets picked up. Beauty is everywhere, you just have to look. As for the look on her… it is a lot more common these days. She really does love me though.

Love your daughter’s expression in that first shot.  Totally not cool with you barging in on her fun.  LOVE the fuzziness of the background too.
