It is hard to believe that Santa is almost here – I feel like it was just Thanksgiving! Regardless, we managed to have our holiday photograph taken about two weeks ago! I think I was pregnant the last time we had a family photograph taken – yikes, Gabby is almost 3! That’s a bit embarrassing...
Friends and family always ask me how I photograph my kids around the holidays – especially on Christmas morning. Here are a few tips:
Get as much light in the room as you can – turn up ambient lighting, open shades – we want to be able to use natural light – try to keep flash OFF!

It is nice to see my photos getting some sun (pun partially intended). I know that the photos of Steve Nash and Grant Hill are being used on the season calender posters, some others are on display here and others will be on display through out the city soon. I still get a kick out of seeing my work on public display. Go Suns!!!
I say it all the time, but I have the best job in the whole world! What a great way to spend a December afternoon, running around a gorgeous resort in Phoenix photographing a beautiful, fun family. I had a great time! I think they did too!
