A grand adventure is about to begin – Winnie the Pooh

Being pregnant is the beginning of something absolutely new – there is no doubt about it.

This couple is so happy in love and off on their new adventure. I love how in love they are. All the good adjectives you can think of describe them. Fun and Funny, happy and beautiful. I feel the first picture defines this – the trust, the love, the togetherness.

While this gorgeous mom to be has a lovely 10 year old girl (sparkly eyed with strawberry hair and freckles, just adorable) - her new adventure with baby girl #2 has already begun.

As you may have noticed from previous blog posts, we were recently in New York. We had the very good fortune of photographing little baby Chloe while there. What is so special to us about little Chloe is that we photographed her parent’s wedding 6 years ago. We find it so rewarding to have our wedding images become part of a family’s history but it becomes even more sweet when we are able to photograph their precious little offspring. Thank you for the opportunity!

This is such a nice way to document your little bundle of joy! We like to call it the “parts” collection – this grid of photos is an instant heirloom. I look at my 5 year olds size 1 feet and my 3 year olds size 10 feet and I can’t even remember when their feet (and hands and squeezable little bottom) were so small! The beauty of photography – it brings you right back to that moment in time – captured forever!

Hi All,

Here are a couple of photos from the other day. Isn’t he is seriously CUTE? He is lucky enough to have a really nice set of parents who couldn’t have been any more gracious and helpful with this session. I was hoping to get some cute sleeping baby shots but he was having none of it. He made sure to get all the sleep he needed before I arrived. Once I started shooting he was always aware. This could be a benefit in the future though. He will never be snuck up on.

This past weekend, we had a mini family reunion of sorts in Greer, Arizona. This was our first trip to Greer, the weather and the scenery were absolutely gorgeous! The adults really enjoyed themselves, but the kids had lots and lots of fun: fly fishing, picking wild flowers, running through fields, feeding ducks, rolling down hills…it is just so great to see kids being kids!! We look forward to our next trip back to the Greer Lodge – we’ll be hoping for snow….
